The Food and Beverage Innovation Centre is a new facility for the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC as a dedicated space to food processing research and development and to bridge academic research with commercial opportunities. The design reflects the relationship of food technology to sustainability while supporting the knowledge of traditional Musqueam food and medicine. The building responds to its site and budgetary constraints with a form that follows function, while showcasing the exciting, cutting-edge work taking place inside.
