Located in the heart of the Grandview-Woodlands neighbourhood, this redevelopment project took an ambitious stance on advancing sociability and liveability - particularly for the growing demographic of young couples and families looking to find (increasingly unavailable) housing in the area. We determined that the best results for fostering human connection were consistently coming from residential units arranged around a common courtyard. The addition of balconies for upper level units increased the potential for sociability even further.
