Sarah Klym
Sarah is a Design Strategist at Human Studio, where she uses her visual communication and research skills to build the office’s expertise in sociable and accessible design.
Her work is driven by her belief in the importance of applying empathetic, sensitive design thinking to existing systems. Sarah is currently undergoing Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification training to ensure RHFAC standards are built into every Human Studio project from the outset.
Sarah graduated with a Master of Architecture from UBC in 2020, where she achieved an RAIC Honour Roll designation, the Vaughn Berg Memorial Award, AIBC scholarships, and a Canadian Architect Student Award of Excellence. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, where she uses her graphic communication skills and software expertise to teach Design Media courses in the graduate Architecture and undergraduate Environmental Design programs.
