Kathy Chang
Kathy is an Associate and Project Architect at Human Studio Architecture and Urban Design with over ten years of experience in complex, multi-use projects for municipalities throughout the province.
Kathy is adept at communicating visually through design and solving abstract problems. She firmly believes that a building’s design must speak to a clear narrative, foster a sense of place, and create new connections. Kathy is currently leading two UBC projects through construction, including the Laboratory of Archaeology and Food and Beverage Innovation Centre. She is also guiding a progressive social housing project at 800 Commercial Drive through a successful rezoning process. Prior to joining Human Studio, Kathy was a principal at Cutler Architecture in Vancouver.
